In this beginner friendly workshop, you'll be invited to learn the foundations of what pranayama is and how breath can influence the movement of prana (vital life force) through the physical body.
We will practice 3 foundational breathing techniques that are designed to calm the nervous system, release tension, and support restful sleep. Melissa's comprehensive approach to pranayama is rooted in 25+ years of practice/study and 11+ years of teaching.
This workshop is for ALL levels, abilities, ages, bodies, and identities. Bring a friend, your family, and anyone you think might benefit from learning or re-learning how to be in deeper relationship with their breath.
